    Hi Guys!

A friend imported a second hand Viano from Japan for an excellent price. We fixed some stuff on the suspension, and replaced the powersteering pump.

Now the car's got a new problem. the display between the speedo and the tacho starts out nice and clear, and then after an hour or so's driving it becomes dull. The dull display doesn't happen every time and it doesn't seem to be affected by having lights on, or adjusting the backlighting intensity.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Phil

    Sound like it's knackered.

Firms like bba reman can fix.

Actronics charge about £100 to fix these, no other way

Ah, OK... I'll see if I can find someone local. Should at least be someone in Jo'burg.
