The headlights on my 211 are dire to say the least, its an elegance so cheapo bulbs not HID like aventgarde.
The dip beam is the industry standard 'projector' type arrangement which by nature has a very sharp cut of line in the beam spread, and being an old git i find it difficult to see much with dipped lights, main beam is fine, my BMW bike has the same arrangement and is also 'pants'
Has anyone either upgraded the bulbs or it the 'canbus' too clever for that and flag up a malfunction ?
I got around the problem on my bike by converting to HID , but that is by the letter of the law illegal as the unit will not be 'type approved' dont want any hassle with insurers in the event of an accident.
Any suggestions, or is it just me
many thanks
