2005 A170 Driver door indicator light not always working

hello
Can anyone help me to remove the cover on drivers mirror to get to the wiring ??

Have already paid and had the led light replaced but still intermittent so I think the wires must need mending\replacing.

I have searched the net to no avail trying to get info on this.

Can anyone advise how I can do this as is very annoying!!

Did you have any luck with the rewiring as I have the same problem.

Finally got around to fixing the indicator. The wire was snapped inside the mirror cowling. Soldered in a new length of wire and shrink wrapped.
