2005 SL 500 ABC System

I recently made the switch to a coilover suspension for my 2005 SL 500. I have all removed parts available for sale. Dealer stated that my pump was not putting out enough pressure but it was still able to adjust all four coils to the highest setting with no issue. Problem was while driving the Red ABC light stayed on and the car drove like a boat. Love the car but not willing to invest money into an expensive suspension system.

I had the same car.
Suddenly it also "drove like a boat"
Fortunately I had (non MB) warranty.
They MB dealer changed quite a few bits, all cost a huge amount of money, all of which were a waste of time
Eventually they listened to the customer (me) who had said from the outset that when the driving like a boat started, so did a very annoying "buzz" through the radio.
They found a wire to one of the struts had parted (but leaving the wire apparently fine).
Total cost was about £30
