2006 C 350 V6 Timing Fault

The engine diagnostics warn of a Timing Issue.
I am advised by the repair facility that the timing on this car is controlled via 2 hydraulically operated devices, one on each timing chain. There is no adjustment possible and these devices will need to be replaced; at fairly considerable cost.
