Hi,
Fortunately enough I found the car I was looking for more than a year and bought it some 19months ago. Only a couple of owners, low mileage and full full extra.

Car came with few issues, but didn't really care since was as I wanted, completely unsprayed every panel with original factory colour sprayed plus it has a rare colour.
Anyway one of the issues unfortunately is the rust on every wheel arch as per attached photos.

Plan was to deal with it last summer but serious family health matters didn't allow me (time wise) to do so.

I would like your opinion on how to deal with it. I will go to a shop for this work but I want your help and advice on what to expect or to tell back to the garage so to propose the best solution (or to find the garage that will provide it).
My goal is to not spray or touch anything that is not needed as I want to keep thinking that car is completely unsprayed (although front bumper has a crack from the first owner I am thinking of also repairing it simultaneously with the rust).

Many thanks.

Rust as we all know can be compared with icebergs, that is, there's always a lot more under the surface than that which shows at the surface.

If you possess a reasonable level of DIY skills, (and the inclination of course), then it might be worthwhile discussing with a bodyshop that you'd like to do the prep. work yourself and get the bodyshop to carry out the paint matching, spraying work and finishing. You could then make absolutely certain that the rust is totally removed (back to bright steel) and not just reliant on a coat of Kurust or etch primer over any deep pitting etc. In my experience getting rid of the rust is definitely numero 1 priority. Matters will become much more involved if steel rust pitting develops into holes a couple of years down the line, and welding is required. I'd also closely inspect the arch lip reverse face to ensure (and hope) that this is corrosion free.
