2006 Viano Lugano Grau …. My van is clearly blue grey……

My 2006 Viano is colour code 7735 Lugano Grau. I took the code from the sticker on the passenger door pillar .

The van is actually a blue colour. Van hasn’t been re sprayed.

I ordered a rattle can with this code. The match isn’t anywhere near close.

Any thoughts????

This could create insurance problems.

You may be vulnerable in the event when a repairer, or worse an assessor, states that the vehicle is different than insured.
If you tell them at renewal time they're likely to see it as a change from spec.

I think I would suspect the rattle can, not your van. Manufacturers' colour names are always fanciful but Lugano (as in Lake ie blue) Grey sounds a reasonable description of your colour. Was the rattle can off the shelf or made up for you?
