2008 Mercedes benz clc 180 kompresser

Hi my name is Steve could anyone please tell me how to change the led wing mirror indicator on offside mirror I've purchased the new part of eBay it matches perfectly I've progressed to removing mirror and connectors taken out all the torx screws but still can't get to the indicator looks a very difficult job hence no videos on utube can anyone help me please

No not really my mirror housing is fixed it doesn't slide off I have a 2008 clc 180 kompresser I've taken off the mirror and motor there's 4 t15 torx screws I've removed everything but can't get to indicator lens tried 4 times it's a nightmare I've purchased the new indicator lens off eBay cost £19 it's the right part but I'm stumped

Some of these mirror housings are not just 'snapped' on - they also have double-sided tape holding them.
I had to warm my housing with a heat gun as I used a knife to break the bond, easing the cover off at the same time.

Is your's like this?

I'm not sure but i will give that a try many thanks i hope it works it was much easier changing my third brake light in the boot easy
