2009 sprinter

Hi guys,

I have a 2009 mercedes sprinter that I am converting to camper. I am looking for some info on changing out the front parabolic spring and fitting air suspension struts. Would there be any mercedes parts that may be used or not.

Putting quad springs on the back and replacing the anti-sway bars with larger diameter ones makes a huge difference.
I’ve a friend with a 518 converted and it transformed the handling

Are the sprinter Ambulances not fitted with air suspension? Not sure if air in front of them but rear is. Although I think they are twin wheel? Im sure plenty broke around the country?

The 518 Double Rear Wheel Police Riot vans ones aren’t air (that was My friends base vehicle)

The ambulance vans are rear air suspension.

Think it would have to be a specialist retrofit kit for front if theres anything out there so ££££s possibly
