The drivers seat backrest is worn on my 200E, 1993, in the usual place and I've bought a new backrest upholstery from MB. However, although it's the right colour and appears to be the right size, there are no holes cut in the new cover for the headrest mountings and the backrest adjuster knob.
Have I got the wrong cover, or do I need to cut the holes - I don't much fancy doing that !
Many thanks
John

Hi,

Just recently had the same issue, I'm afraid you have to cut the holes!

Measure, measure, and measure again, use the old cover as a template.

It's not too bad, and the black plastic rings around the headrest mountings cover up any ragged edges.

Good luck.
