200te - Rear window wiper won't stop!

Dear All,

Newbie writing here.... I have a frustrating problem with my rear window wipe in as much as it won't stop.

The switch that controls intermittent or constant wiping should be in the middle position for no wipe, which it is (with a satisfying click when pressed to central position), although still the wiper is on intermittent wipe.

To add... the switch for rear window wash is off

Any ideas?

Welcome!

Assuming the switch is Ok (no short and/or you can switch on constant wipe) then I suspect that the park contacts in the wipe motor itself are faulty.

The motor may be strippable but it could be easier to fit a replacement.
