I am hoping someone can help I have an issue with the sound sytem in my car in that only the rear speakers work. I assume that its possibly an amp issue or connection problem. everywhere on the internet says the amp is in the left hand side panel in the boot. I have removed both left and right trim on the left is the hydraulic pump for the roof and on the right there is pretty much nothing. I am hoping someone else may have an idea. I can handle music and radio just from the back but makes it impossible to make a hands free call as you just cant hear anything.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mate, I see no one has replied and I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring, I believe the amp resides behind the trim in the boot. If I remember correctly, it should be on the left side of the boot. I might be completely wrong, I just remember someone talking about Merc amps in a video I was watching a while ago.

Do all cars have amps ? Or is it the case that some of the basic radio systems have a small amp inbuilt only ?
