Hi Guys,
My father has a 2011 E250 estate. It has happened a couple of times where he has gone to the car (after parking at airport and going on holiday for example) and the rear of the car is very noticeably lower. Once you start the car the self levelling suspension corrects itself and all is fine.
However, this is now happening almost on a daily basis.
Mercedes Tonbridge and Mercedes Eastbourne are not able to tell him if this should or should not happen.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if there is a known fault that needs to be rectified?
It seems obvious to me that there is a slow air leak?
The car is completely drive-able and there is no problem once the engine is started and the suspension has levelled itself. But it bothers him that nobody at Mercedes can give a definitive answer and that the car looks like the rear suspension has failed every morning!
Any help or advice would be most welcome.
Many thanks
Rossco
