2012 BENZ ESTATE C220 BONNET CABLES HELP PLEASE

Hi all, hope you all had a good Christmas and looking forward to new year celebrations.

Now that's out the way help please with bonnet cables (a 2 piece system) looking on fleabay it's hard to find replacements but finding the latch end cables easy for c180 c200 and c250 models but not c220 where can I find a part number for this cable without wasting the time of a dealer.

Mercedes use the same Part number for all the saloon/estate C180/200/220/250.

The correct Part numbers are
Front cable A204 880 08 59

Rear cable A204 880 05 59

I'm guessing your Vin# starts with the numbers 204208 in which case, this is the EPC showing all the Part numbers you need for your car.
You'll find the bonnet release cables in Section 88 Attachments Parts, section 120.

I dont think you waste time at dealer beyond getting the correct part.

Never had a cable fail. The cable will fail because they have snapped as the mechanism has not been lubricated (jammed) - an essential maintenance item. A squirt of oil on the mechanism each year.

It looks like if that plastic connection block fails on your bonnet cables your buggered
