Ok guys and girls, We have just purchased a 2012 E Class convertible and now find that the child seats ( used for Grand kids) just dont fit right, there the type that just sit on seat and use the standard seat belt (the kids are 5 and 7 years old) to hold them and kids in place, we find the seat belt faster in the base is to far behind the kid seat and the upright back rest of the kid seat is being pushed forward to an uncomfortable angle, Has anyone found a booster seat the works for this car?

Mercedes do their own just for this reason, I’m afraid I don’t know the details but might be worth searching eBay or somewhere to see if something pops out

There are so many types of "Booster" seat out there, you just need to look for one with a narrower base.

I had the same issue, randomly found one on FB that was perfect.

It is like these

Also look at the Halfords Essentials one, they have a narrower base

@V6Matty MB seats are rebranded Recaro and Britax, nothing special about them at all apart from the price

Knew they were rebranded, but just a thought that then you would know they fit your model exactly
