2012 W212 E220 AUTOMATIC WON'T START AFTER GEARBOX SWAP

MY 2012 E Class 7 speed automatic gearbox was changed by my local garage, replacing with the same gearbox code, number but upon starting the car, its turning all lights on but not starting, not even cranking, no voltage drop, as if its immobilised? Does the gearbox needs coding to my car or something? All connections are checked and good. I can select P,N,D,R nad shows on the dash. Thank you

Is this the same garage that pulled apart your MAS wires?

No, thyre just doing the gearbox, I mainly use them mechanical work, they are not into electrical
