- 2012 E250 CDi estate
Good afternoon folks, first time I’ve ever done anything like this so please be kind. I need some assistance and would like some help please.
I have a 2012 E250 CDi automatic estate. It has a fluid leak at the front which I’m desperate to fix but identifying the part is proving difficult.
If I look down in between the radiator cooling fan and the front of the engine I can see a small silver alloy box sitting on the front cross member just in front of the crank pulley. There are 2 pipes going to this unit that both move up and down where they fit which doesn’t look right to me. Building up on the top of the unit is green fluid which makes me think the unit may be a power steering cooler, it looks similar to the oil cooler fitted on the oil filter housing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
