I’m also looking at remapping my 250cdi shooting brake as well. Been quoted the following results

Original Modified Difference
201bhp to 255bhp +54bhp
369lb/ft to 410lb/ft
Fuel save upto 10%

Just another company ( please name ) using false figures to sell something , you'll have one hell of a job getting to 255 bhp as they don't measure 201 bhp to begin with .

The only realistic figure there is an achieveable + 41 lbft / 55.6 Nm gain from wherever the base is , again no where near 500 Nm / 369 lbft to begin with in the real world .

Surprise , surprise , I caught Celtic Tuning out years ago , it's when they publish their dyno graphs !

Now I suppose you are not going to notice what is wrong with these and that's why peeps get sucked into it .

Best over inflator I've ever seen is this one !




But it doesn't show the before dyno !

Probably puts out 235 hp as stock on their dyno

Also when you say Dyno, what does that specifically mean?

I've had mine done, company claims are:
201bhp to 220bhp
500nm to 540nm
The car now struggles to get close to my previous mpg figures, but I suspected that would be the case anyway, I've never ever believed the figures any of these companies claim, especially the better mpg figures stated. But there must be a good reason 90% of these companies only claim minimal bhp & torque gains, I would be especially wary of any claiming increases of 54bhp or they would all be claiming that was possible.
