2017 C 200 CD player problem.

Hi, new to the forum and looking for help please. I was just listening to a CD and after a short stop started the car and the CD came up with the message “no disc inserted”. So now I can’t eject the disc because it thinks there isn’t one! Is there another way to get the disc out? Any help gratefully received.

Hi Graham, welcome to the forum. I would like to be able to help you as I also have a 2017 C200 but I have never even switched on the radio in the 2.5 years that I have had it. I only just learned this week that it has voice recognition There are plenty of knowledgeable people so hopefully someone will soon pick up the baton.

Hi Andy, thanks for your reply. As with every thing these days I have left it for a while tried it again and it is all OK again.

There is a way of resetting by pressing certain buttons on the unit but this depends on which system you have ?

I’d try and locate the main fuse for the CD player and remove this and then re-insert after 10mins. Well that what the late great Television advised me many years ago and it worked.
