Hi Folks

Considering updating to this 2017 C250d executive edition 9g tronic estate.

Can anyone who may have one of these answer my three main queries. 1/ is the 2.1 engine still as noisy as the one in our current 2004 estate. 2/ are the seats any better re comfort. 3/ is the ride any better re suspensiom.

The one I am looking at is a spaceship compared to my 2004 2.2 cdi sports estate, which is sluggish and not the most comfortable vehicle I have ever sat in.

Cheers.

2014 C250 CDI Amg Sport Edition (Premium Plus)
1. It's still using the OM651, which is known for being a bit noisy, but in 250 form should be pretty brisk
2. The seats should be alright being an executive edition which is more tailored for comfort
3. Same as point #2, executive edition is going to be the more comfortable/complaint version compared to Sport/Amg Line trim levels.

Be aware that this era of diesels, do suffer with AdBlue issues, which are hard to diagnose and expensive to fix. So if a Petrol version would suit your usage, then go for that. Would be quieter as well.

9G box is great and as long as you get one with 17” wheels ride comfort is fine.

Hi again.

Missed the one above unfortunately, but there is a really outstanding 2010 E250 CDI auto AMG sport estate available at under 9K with low mileage.

Again I need advice from anyone familiar with this model as to the ride quality. Would the 18" wheels and AMG/SPORTS set up equal a hard ride or is it acceptable? Cheers. Screenshot 2023-07-03 at 13-43-57 2010 Mercedes-Benz E250 CDi BlueEFFICIENCY AMG SPORT ESTATE ...png e?

Only you can decide that :(
E-Class is about comfort (for me) I'd find an SE Spec with real leather and 17" wheels
AMG-Line has larger wheels and plastic "Artico" seating that splits down the sewing lines
