2017 E Class - removing boot floor flap

Hi all,
I have a 2017 W213/S213 E220 Estate.

It has a hinged flap on the boot floor that looks like it was put there to access a spare wheel compartment (although there is no spare wheel)..

Anyway, I would like to remove this flap in order to provide some additional depth in the boot area, has anyone done this?

And if so, is it as simple as just removing the 4 screws (2 on each side) at the hinges?

Hopefully someone will confirm, but I suspect thats where the adblue tank is. Or at least thats where mine is on the CLS.

I think AdBlue tank is in there too .....,
