2018 AMG SLC43 console

I have a 2018 AMG SLC 43 that has a center console that will not close. Opened the console to remove my sunglasses and when I tried to close it it was stuck in the open position. Anyone have this happen to them? I looked for a release button but could not find one and do not want to break the lid.
