2018 Sprinter Diagnostic Code Reader recommendation?

I am looking at perhaps investing in a (non-professional) diagnostic code reader for my 2018 Sprinter based motorhome.
Ideally, if such a kit exists, one which can clear the annoying faults that, whilst not dangerous to people or engine, force you to take the vehicle for an expensive - and in our experience unnecessary - fault clearance.
I am no technician and a relatively easy one to navigate would be good.
Any recommendations from edperience gained would be much appreciated.

iCarsoft do a range of MB specific readers that will do the job.

As an initial cheaper way forward you might try the 'Torque' app on an Android.
It can monitor a fair few things live while on the go.
It can't clear as many faults as iCarsoft, or carry out DPF functions.

You would need to spend £5 or so on an EML327 BT sender.

While basic it can be useful.

Dunno, how would you use an app on an apple?
I've learnt the very obvious skills to use it on a marshmallow, on a lollipop, even a chocolate biscuit or 4. I haven't a clue how this could work on fruit. Sorry.
