2018 W205 C300 front Passenger window not working

Hi All, I hope everyone well.

Just come across a problem last week with my Front Passenger side window not opening, i have tried from both switches in car and the key. All other windows open without a issue just one does not want to open what so ever.

i have tried that a number of times to do a window reset and still no luck.

Also i replaced the Driver side Switch back in April 2024 roughly as the front window buttons broke off. i changed that for the old switch to see if the switch was the problem and still the same, window not opening. All other windows open without any problems.

I can hear something when i press the window open/closed button like a motor but the window does not go down what so ever.

Any help much appreciated

I’d be taking the door card off and checking the window regulator

Is it possible the wire has broken between the door shut and the door controller for that window?
Something to look at if the window regulator is OK.

If nothing is visually obvious a trip to a Mercedes specialist (not just any garage) would be my next port of call.
He should have the (STAR) Mercedes diagnostic equipment which can check the live data and find the problem.
Much cheaper than using a main dealer.
What is your location ? Hopefully someone can recommend a good Mercedes specialist nearby. If not, Google one.

I've taken out the window Fuses in the boot and passenger footwell. They are all fine and not blown.

I really don't feel like going down the path of removing the door card to check regulator.

The car is booked in for 19th Aug 2024, for Service A / Gear Box service and a few other things. I have made the specialist ware about the window hopefully he will get to the bottom of it and its not a costly repair.
