I have a 207d with a om 616 in and as mentioned manny times it's rlly quite slow and I have beared for a few years and now the gearbox sounds very whiny and some awkward welding needs to be done for mot that's gonna be hard with the engine in .
So with this In mind I have looked for a 5 pot na with no luck - ebay is just mental prices
So what I would love to know is if anyone has manages to put a petrol engine in - maybe a 2.0l 4 cylinder from a 190e or a newer compresser 180
How would the auto boxes match up with the ratios of the diff ?
