Could anyone tell me what tyre pressures (in PSI please) I should use on a C-reg ('85/'86) Mercedes-Benz 207D van? The tyres say 60PSI but my local garage reccomends 40-45PSI. Could anyone tell me which is best?

Anything written inside the fuel filler?, I gues you do not have access to the manual as that will have the correct details.
The figure on tyres is usually a maximum.

Ok, I will check that, thanks for your reply. And you are correct in that I do not have access to a manual.

Just rang my friend with one, he uses 45 when the van is half full or laden, I think you will find that the marking on the tyre is the Max presure.
