208 belt problems

Just wondered if anyone can help me as i have just got a new fan/ alternator belt and being an idiot i did not take any notice when i removed the old one, now i can't get the new one on as there are lots of pulleys etc and i seem to have tried every possible conbination to fit it but its either touching itself or too big, does anyone please have a diagram as i can't find one anywhere, please help as i need the van for sunday as i am racing and need to transport my bike.

Forgot to say that its a sprinter.

Cheers that would be excellent, i have a pretty good idea of mechnics but this has really got me stumped

changed a vito one today, forgor how it went, had to look it up, not like the old days off two pulleys!!!!!

I pretty much got it on straight away and said to the mrs just keep an eye on this while i start it up she said yes its turning fine but then it started smoking and it was sort of overlapped and touching can't get it to fit any other way though :mad:
