I have a 2.3l non-turbo diesel 208 van which needs a new head gasket - it's gone between no.1 and the camchain gallery.
I've done head gaskets on petrol engines but never a diesel and although I've ordered a manual I'm impatient to get started on it.
Could anyone outline the procedure for removing the camshaft? It's removing the camshaft sprocket and chain I'm mainly concerned about, and the procedure for making sure the timing doesn't go out while I'm working on it.
Any ideas?
