210 front sidelight changing

Trying to change the front sidelight on my 2001 ( Facelift ) 210 E class .
I dont have an owners manual so I am not sure how it comes out I have the Cover off and its the lower / smaller bulb holder white plastic near the reflector and black connector with the two wires . I have tried Tugging and twisting but there is no give I am reluctant to twist or pull too hard . Is it just pull or is it twist and if twist is it clockwise or anticlockwise? ( looking forward in same direction as headlight )
Simplest job I have done on the car and I'm stuck!

Seems like there could be locking tab its hard to see its on the Drivers side with not much clearance altho gained a couple of inches by sliding the rear wash bottle up and out of the way
Are the locking tabs squeeze to open ones ? Then Pull ?

Surely you just have the wire clips that you press in towards the front and then come out when squeezed

BINGO after numerous repeated twisting its hard to grip down there unless your a gynaecologist :lol:

Well done, I was going to say it requires a twist and then a pull ... oooh ... err ... missus!
