Hello and welcome, this can only be bad wheel balancing, some tyre places are not very good at it

It it was the prop shaft it would behave differently when pulling to the over run. Worn engine mounts can throw the drive train out of line

Don't give up smv. There are plenty of specialists out there who can sort these things out for you. What else would you buy if you didn't have a Merc? Nothing comes close to the brand, IMHO.

Put the car in P brake off, on level ground, and jack the rear one side, then have someone turn the wheel in both directions while you look underneath, if the propshaft moves up and down in the center by much then you have the answer. If its OK it will be the rear wheels out of balance, and I still think that this is the reason

Ive had this problem before and with the front as well it feels like a wheel is loose or the suspension bushes are all knacked but after examination it turned out to be bad tyre pressures due to the fact i never check em lol :p As the alloys get old as the w210 is getting a bit old now they leak around the rim and you have to get em sealed up quite often .

You can get a sealing compound for this, any tyre place can do it
