Morning all

I have a 2009 facelift 211 estate.

When pressing the brake pedal at a stand still there is a creaking noise from the front right side. All the suspension is new / very recent and the pads and discs look to have plenty of life in them.

The brake pedal also feels slightly notchy when being pressed and seems to correlate with the creaking noise.

Any ideas what this might be?

Thanks!

Afternoon,

Have you changed the fluid/flushed the brake system in the last 2 years? As I believe it's advised for this model.

It could be: your brake calliper is seizing, an iffy brake pipe, brake system has air in it, or the system just needs flushing.

Cheers,

Jack

Updating this thread; it was a sticking slider pin on the caliper. Removed, cleaned, greased and refitted and all back to normal
