211 rear suspension

Hi as any body come a cross simular fault with 2007 eclass estate rear suspension on its arse to be blunt, no fault codes stored and air matic compressor test seems ok. customer says whent over sleeping policemen heard slight bang suspected golf clubs moving. we suspect rear air/springs but at £450 each approx so need to be sure welcome any ideas cheers .

There is a rear level sensor and the link bar quite often snaps on the sensor so it doesnt self level any more

Hi andy many thanks yes we had all ready checked that, turned out to be air bag/coil spring punctured.
