212 GPS not working - aerial already replaced!

Hi, I've got a S212 2011. GPS started playing up, clock wrong, wrong location, no satelites....so I followed the excellent thread on here https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/...-gps-antenna-ariel-repair-replacement.180037/ and replaced the aerial and connected a new one which i put on the dashboard just get it working before finding a hiding place....Reset the command, drove round, pulled the fuse..still no satelite shown. So thinking it may be a dodgy GPS aerial or connector from ebay I ordered replacements from amazon...double checked that i replaced the blue fakra...still nothing!

I've had the car independently serviced since 2016 after merc wanted £750 for an oil change...so hasn't had any dealer updates.

Any ideas?

Hi, went into the engineering mode and command says that no gps aerial is connected...tried plugging in old and new aerial...still no joy! aNy ideas?

I had this issue on my CLS. Had to replace the Fakra connector which immediately worked.

Maybe you have a dodgy one , send it back and get a replacement to see if that works?
