Can someone help? Want to know more about how the pump sends air / vac to each component? There are letters on each outlet of the pump , but which does what ? Can i leave the pipe to the fuel filler disconnected so it doesnt operate ??

I think from memory Heck is boot, oR and oL are for the doors (Recht und Links - right and left).
Can't remember about the rest.

It's possible the carbon vanes in the pump itself are worn.
There is a kit on eBay for the 230 that may fit the 215?

Ok LK , ive had it apart before so poss get a kit and fit it , if i pulled a couple of pipes off so it only leaves the door locks and boot lid , should it still operate ok and by that i mean it does continue to feed pipes that arent connected??

Good question.
On the 129 yes it does. On the 230 if the boot one has a leak the pump stops feeding it. So basically I don't know.

Right on the 215 , pull a hose the air comes out so i assume all vac central locking will be the same
So seen as my motor spins freely and on demand is it worth replacing the carbon vanes on my pump ???

Depends if they can provide enough pressure?

What pressure are you getting?

Found it. 490mm Hg vacuum (20 in), 7 psi minimum within 2 seconds though a good pump will produce 14psi.

Appreciate the effort finding that info out LK , will have to see if either of my other scan tools can read live data from the pump
