215 fuse blown . . .

The soft close on the boot stopped working yesterday, no biggy , used the key , today however i realized the central locking had also stopped and as a result the car was unlocked all night , anyway it turns out fuse F61 had blown , this covers these items and maybe others too , new fuse so all good , just find it odd that it happened at all . . . Cars . . . .

Keep an eye on the pse pump. If its weak or sticky it will blow that fuse.

Im intrigued that if it is faulty then surely it would blow a the new fuse immediately after it was fitted , no ?

yes, although you could have had a sticky vane that temporarily jammed the pump.

I will go with that Alex ! Ive had a look at rebuild and it looks easy enough IF i need to . . . . .
