Hello
New member here hoping that all you knowledgeable people here can help a lady in distress !

Approximately two years ago addblue warning light came on with the yellow engine, warning, light, message no start in 500 miles. I took it to the garage and had NOx sensors replaced.

I have just had my ad blue warning, lights come on again, and have subsequently filled it up. Following this, my engine light has come on again!
This seems too much of a coincidence. Can anyone possibly help? Surely it cannot be needing NOx sensors again? I have checked the list of recalls in case there is a fault however, cannot seem to find anything as yet.

Can anyone perhaps help or advice please my thoughts are perhaps contacting Mercedes-Benz customer service today. Many thanks in advance.

No real substitute for reading the codes. Some nox sensor replacements were not a cure. If you have the invoice a call to 1 or 2 dealers will confirm if you have a final version or not. If not ask them to resolve. if yes Yr on Yr own
Whist it's preferable not to and having had 1200 plus on replacing the rubbish system I opted for a 200 quid removal of the adblue and egr system software. as is the vehicle was not fit for purpose tho benz washed their hands of system.

Welcome!

As above you need the codes reading it may not be the Nox sensors this time but the Adblue tank itself at fault

Entirely up to you, but I wouldn't waste a phone call to MB customer services. All they will say is that the fault codes need to be read. Some owners have had Nox sensors only lasting 2 years and the problems with Adblue are becoming increasingly reported. Best to take it to a respected MB indie who is familiar with the system. An MB dealer is likely to fleece you.

It maybe the spray nozzle. The ad blue pump, the ad blue heater , the ad blue level sensor. The Nox sensors.

Good luck.

If ur lucky nozzle partially blocked. Think there is utube on cleaning that worth a try as can get adblue crystals stuck in nozzle
