Is there a way of removing the front seat bases without removing the whole seat frame? I would like to respring and repad the bases.

There are two small levers, one at each front corner underneath the frame of each seat. I wondered if these might release the base?

Has anyone any tips for overhauling the seat bases to remove the sag?

Any help is much appreciated.

You have to remove the whole seat. MB used to sell a saggy seat repair kit (comprising two blocks of foam) but you'd have to check see if it's still available

One way is to buy a new squab from a breaker. The backrest & squab separate quite easily
