Hi all. After a long search I think I have found the CE that I want. It's an 89 model.
It has one problem. The thingy (I don't know it's proper name) that hands the seatbelt to the driver doesn't work. Can anyone tell me how hard it is to fix. I like the car so if it's a big costly job to do it will be a good bargaining point when buying.
I take it I can still use the belt ok but I just have to streatch to get it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I hope to buy the car in the next couple of days.

Thanks in advance, Stu

Its often a matter of setting it up, there was a posting just before Xmass on this subject.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid I don't understand.

there are switches and sensors on the end of the rails and if 1 is faulty or sticky the thing does not work.
I did a posting in Nov-Dec on how to set it up.
