Hi again

One more question related to my car

After driving to a bumb in speed 90kmh to 110 Kmh my steering starts shaking for a while very badly.

First time it happened I was thinking tha my frontire is loose, and I had to stop immediately to check the tightness off the bolts.

I went to shock test and they told tha everything is in normal range.

What could cause this ?. There is only 103000 km in odometer ?

I have replased balljoints too and tires are rebalansed, but problem still exists

regards

Oskari

Front Shocks shot I think.  Mine were at 77K but the "conventional" bounce test didn't show any problem (it has recently passed an MOT).
Easy DIY fix - 1 hour per side and you don't need spring compressors.  I bought Bilstein's from Eurocarparts for just under £100 the pair.  My E280 had begun to shudder and lurch after big bumps.  Now it is superb with "pin sharp" handling and a vastly improved ride!  Seriously, this is the best £100 I have spent on the car - it was transformed.

Agree.  On my get-to-work Cavalier I had a similar problem and traced it to one of the shocks. The shock felt fine through it's longitudinal travel, but was loose side-side, as though the piston in the shock was bust. Gonna follow the Bilstein route on the Merc when the rest of the works done .
