230e w124 auto box rattle

Hi.

I appear to get a rattling noise from around the gear selector when accelerating in any gear, I have had all the trim off but if appears to be coming from the gear selector, if i hold the selector firmly with some down pressure it almost becomes quiet, is there any adjustment available, i can see two nuts securing the lever?

Fixed it.
turned out to be an e clip had dissapeared from the gear lever linkage to the gear selector rod underneath. I replaed the e clip now the problem has gone...
