230TE Estate Sunroof playing me up

Can anyone help me.........had volvo's up until now, thought i'd treat myself to a merc! The only trouble is that the sunroof was working the 1st time i tried it and has stayed stuck open on tilt ever since(2 weeks)!

I have tried to locate the manual override butr failed, anyone know where it is? OR what the problem might be....when i press the close button the motor whirs but with no action, might it be a fuse or a relay gone?

hi there

the manual override is a white plastic gear which is behind the spare wheel panel - just up and right of the spare wheel. i can't remember what you use to operate it but if you have a problem then i'll dig the instruction booklet out for you.
