230te Help! Total electrical failure!

Can anyone help? I had a flat battery, so hooked up my battery charger to the car, came back 30 minutes later only to find my car with no electrical power at all. Figuring I had a duff charger I tried to jump start the car to no avail. Everything is dead. Is there a main fuse somewhere that may have blown? I can't find anything relating to this in the manual.

any help appriciated as my christmas will be screwed without wheels! :cry:

Did you disconnect the alternator before hooking up the charger?

You could try the battery disconnected from the car with the charger.

Do you have a voltmeter to see what is going on?

Take battery out and charge it all night. the battery might be tottaly gone.
Try another battery.
