265/40/21 - Tyre Advice

Looking to replace all four tyres on my Mercedes ML350 AMG Premium BlueTec (15) soon, and understand the prices of this particular size are really cheap to really expensive, covering a variety of brands.

From the brands below, have any of you had any experience with them in the above size?

Falken
Dunlop
Hankook
Radar
Nankang
Accelra Iota

Or are they any specific brands you would recommend?

I’d entertain the top 3 on your list, and as JB the Falkens get good ratings, also check out Vredestein for a mid brand.
I only have specific current ‘SUV’ experience with the Pirelli Scorpions which seem decent but can’t see them being cheap!

Thanks guys! Yeah I have seen the Falkens in a local tyre place near me and have also used Falkens in the past on BMW, seem pretty good. Don't know much about Hankook's? - Will have a look about

I would take the Hankooks, followed by the Falkens and wouldn't touch the last 3. Vredestein's are also good (maybe seen as a mid range brand in the UK but are more premium in much of Europe).

Have the Hankooks on our SUV and they work well. Sit towards the top end of the midrange and have good characteristics. Supplier to some OEM's although that doesn't always mean much as even Kumho have that reference.

The Hankook had a Db rating of 73 and the Falken 70 is the Hankook is twice as noisy
