Hi all,Happy New Year !!!!
Not so happy here!! Car starts then stops, observed air in fuel pipes.
Have changed "0" rings, car STILL misbehaving.
I have read somewhere on the forum that a check valve can be fitted on the line from tank to filter, can anyone tell me where I can buy the valve.
Many thanks
Jack

Is there still air in return lines or just not starting? ALL o-rings changes in all low pressure lines? (Doubt the check valve stuff)

I think that the non return valve is a red herring.

As above, is air still present in the pipes, if do, did you smear a little grease on the seals to aid fitting?

If no air present, I'd be looking at an injector leak off test (not the same as a leaking injector).

Double check the fuel line seals, if they are fine then i would look at the high pressure pump (the large, star shaped pump at the front of the engine) If any of the 3 'heads' of the pump are leaking then that is where air is getting into the system.........tip = check the pump for leaks when the engine is running and COLD, once the engine is warm expansion causes the pump 'heads' to stop leaking.

ps..... fitting a check valve will be a waste of time, you need to cure the root of the problem.
