I am considering an A plate 84 280CE Auto, 178k miles, with no history to speak of, but previous MOT's.
Seller says welding has been done to a seat anchor (drivers), a headlamp is chipped, and stereo doesn't work etc etc. MOT until August.
He's asking £1485 for it, and I was going to offer £1k cash.
Is this a fair asking price, and also, does anybody know what was the original fit audio unit in the model-a Blaupunkt of some description maybe?
Also, anything esle I should be aware of-everything I've raed says don't touch with no FSH, but I think I may be blinded by the car's lines on viweing, especially in the gorgeous light metallic blue with matching hub caps!
Any advice v v apreciated, as I'm viewing Weds night (31 March!)
