280ce Head Gasket

Hi,

I have just become the proud owner of a 1980 280ce. It is in relatively good condition but there are a few things I will need to do. Th first is a small oil leak,

Any suggestions on a good parts supplier in london? I need a new head gasket and air filter, also any tips on replacing the head gasket? is it as easy as it sounds?

Eurocarparts can supply head gasket sets and service items for your car . Also gsf probably. Both good suppliers. As regards the head gasket Haynes do a manual for the 124 6 cylinder engine and the procedure should be much the same for the 123.
