Sorry, if this is the wrong forum for software questions. I've a 2018 A180 AMG and have a few little annoyances, is there any way to do these?

1. Can you get it to _not_ resume music when the car is started? We share the car and don't want to listen to whatever the last driver was blasting
2. Is it possible to set a starting engine mode? I'd love to start it in Eco rather than Comfort
3. It possible to 'whitelist' a USB device? I have a frequently-connected device and always get the 'this accessory is not supported' prompt

As far as I'm aware:
1. No. How would it know what you want to listen to?
2. No. It may be possible with a tool like Vediamo or as part of a remap but not directly as far as I'm aware.
3. No. That message actually suggests a fault with the stick or head unit. Try another stick.

1. I mean it currently resumes what was playing last e.g. if the radio was on it starts up. I just want the car to not scare the sh*t out of me when I turn it on
2. Ah, damn
3. It's just an apple MagSafe charger - think it's fine but the car doesn't know what to do with it (charging works fine)

Correct. It's not a supported device. There's no way to fix that.

I have the current version of MBUX on my CLA which is the same as the A Class, so my answers relate to that.
1. Yes. On my car the volume control on the centre console when pressed acts as a Mute/Off so nothing plays next time I start my engine.
2. Not as far as I am aware. Comfort is the default mode for both MB cars ive owned in the past 2 years, and this is probably the same for all cars.
3. No idea, I do not use this function.

I was thinking about 2 and found this in my handbook.
To me this is no help because you still need to press buttons when starting the engine so it defeats the purpose.
