well i jumped in with both feet & brought a 92 300sl .
i read the reviews checked the market paid my money & am very
happy with the results
one thing i thought i would check out though is'it just me or does anyone else have a tale to tell  of 30something's in jap things pulling up at junctions looking for a burn up?(3 infirst 3weeks)  value your opinion

Subaru Impreza Turbo drivers? Just the worst, in my experience, always looking for someone to show off to.

I had pleasure in embarassing a plonker in his XR3i a few months ago.....bearing in mind ive only got a 2 litre 190 auto, i think he was a bit put out as i left him for dead down the A13!!!

its surprising how quick a 190 can get to 110 mph!

I like to sit there, blipping the throttle until the lghts go green, then let them race away. Do they think they have won (which they probably would have) or do they juist feel a bit stupid (hope so!).

Guy, if you want to try it, the Silk Road from the Buxton Road junction heading towards London Road/Leek Road never fails.

Since I got the C32, I've had Subaru Imprezas and Mitsubishi Evo's buzzing around all the time.
It seems to wind them up even more if they think you haven't noticed them.
I can't possibly tell you about my encounter with a DB7 Vantage, someone might be looking....

I know the Silk Road, Malcolm; the new A34 Wilmslow by-pass is another similar road!
