I seem to have some air in the fuel lines (I can see an air bubble in the pre-filter and I recently ran out of fuel) but no matter how much I pump the little hand pump to bleed the lines, the air does not seem to move.

Any ideas how else I could bleed the fuel, as I assume the air bubble should not be there?!? Or maybe I'm not pumping it correctly!

The car is a w123 300 diesel.

Thanks for any help in advance

Try getting someone to turn the engine over whilst you pump, and make sure you are working from the side of the engine..
