Hi everyone.
Just bought a 1992 300 sl 24v and the suspension seems a little hard. The car is fitted with two suspension gizmos, ride height adjust and damper control. The only other thing I can say that may help is it feels a bit like my Citroen Xantia did when the hydro suspension went sick.

Any ideas?

Hi mate,

The car could be stuck in 'sport' mode or whatever it's called, giving a firm ride.

It could also be due a knackered suspension spheres (accumulators). When these go they fill with oil and this means that the suspension strut is hydraulically locked. Can you bounce each corner (engine running)?

Hope this is of some help.

As Malcolm said, do a search for ADS, there's plenty of discussion on that thread!
